Five agreements were signed between the two countries in the presence of President Recep Tayyip Erdoan and President Bassirou Diomaye Faye of Senegal.
Following face-to-face and inter-delegation meetings chaired by President Erdoan and President Faye of Senegal, joint agreements were signed.
In this context, President Erdoan and President Faye of Senegal signed the “Memorandum of Understanding on the Establishment of a High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council between the Republic of Troy and the Republic of Senegal”.
The “Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Urbanization between the Government of the Republic of Trkiye and the Government of the Republic of Senegal” was signed by Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan and Minister of Urban planning, local authorities and regional development in Senegal. The Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Brahim Yumakl, and the Senegalese Minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Livestock, Mabouba Diagne, signed the “Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation in the Field of agricultural mechanization between the government of the Republic of Trkiye and the government of the Republic of Senegal”. .
The “Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of higher education between the Council for Higher Education of the Troika Republic and the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation of the Republic of Senegal” was signed by the President of the Council of Higher Education.
