Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called for the destruction of Israel during the prayers of Eid al-Fitr marking the end of Ramadan, declaring, according to Allah, damn of Zionist Israel.
Speaking on Sunday at the Mosque of Grand Camlica in Istanbul, said Erdogan, we all know what is happening in Palestine and called at the end of Zionism and Israel, according to reports.
He also expressed condolences for those who are killed in Gaza, qualifying them as martyrs and wishing rapid recovery to the injured.
Earlier in the day, Erdogan published a national message marking the holidays, in which he described the situation in Gaza as a genocide and accused Western inaction nations.
The genocide which takes place in Gaza, in particular, constantly reaches a more serious dimension with images which will tear the heart of anyone with a shredder of conscience, morality and understanding.
As Türkiye, we clearly express our position against this savagery and try to heal our brothers' injuries with our help. However, as long as the world, in particular Western countries, does not take real measures against this oppression, the courage and daring of oppressors will increase and the cries of the oppressed reach the heavens. Hopefully the coming period will be the cause of an alarm clock in this regard all over the world, he said.
