Recalling an incident, the actor said: “About two years ago, we had friends, a couple came home for dinner. So there were four of us and I only had three plates and three forks. I generally did not have a company and that's how I lived, so it was unusual to have four people at home.”

Imran, who has started to live with Washington since 2024, added: “We found ourselves in a situation where Lekha and I had to share a plate and a fork. After that, Lekha told me that we needed more things, and now we have enough to entertain the guests.”

The simple brother Ki Dulhan actor continued: “I wanted to reduce the things on which I depend by limiting it only to what I can manage by myself. If there are only three plates and two cups, the stack of dirty dishes cannot go higher than that, thus reducing the mess, which cannot be cleared in ten minutes. It was the process.”

He mentioned that his influence has extended beyond the material aspects, helping him to focus on personal growth and well-being.
