China thanks Prime Minister Modi for letter of condolence on coronavirus epidemic
China thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday for his letter of condolence to Chinese President Xi Jinping on the coronavirus epidemic. Chinese Ambassador to India Sun Weidong seized his official Twitter account where he wrote that President Xi appreciated Prime Minister Modi's message and his offer to jointly fight the epidemic with the international community , including India.

An Indian Air Force plane transported 15 tonnes of medical supplies from New Delhi to Wuhan in February to help deal with the crisis. The Department of External Affairs said the plane was carrying medical supplies including masks, gloves and other emergency medical equipment. "The assistance sent today is also a mark of friendship and solidarity of the Indian people with the Chinese people, the two countries also celebrating the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations this year, "said AEM in a statement.

Coronavirus epidemic
The new coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, has claimed more than 3,300 lives worldwide, of which 3,000 have been reported in China alone.
