I'm going to Lincoln today because I'd like to go to the spring game. I realize most see it as a glorified scrimmage, but to me it's a social event. I'm around tens of thousands of people who love the same thing I do: Husker football.

If I could just read your mind, I suspect you'll see a few quarterbacks. Because I can't imagine this spring game being about anything else.

The quarterback play was so bad last year that there is a strong hope that the young quarterbacks we have will make a difference in the coming years so that Nebraska can get back on track to becoming a really good football team.

I did a spring video interview with Big Ten Ted, who has a YouTube channel. He's a really nice guy and he talks about Big Ten football quite diligently. So maybe you'll give his channel a follow.

As of this writing, I have no idea what the format of the spring game will be, but one thing I forgot to bring up in the Big Ten Ted preview was…maybe seeing some of the younger offensive linemen and what they look like.

I can say with certainty what NO ONE wants to see; a Nebraska quarterback throws the ball to the other team. You can make all the jokes you want about it being the same team, but one interception could change the complexion of our 2024 prospects. Amazing how that works.
