Cats earn three All-Conferences on the first day of the America East Championships
AMERICA EAST CHAMPIONSHIPS DAY 1
BALTIMOREAfter the first day of competition, the Catamounts earned three all-conference honors, with Lily Porth, Emma WapshareAnd Jameson Sparks finish in the top three. The women's team is fourth with 35 points, while the men are eighth with 13 points.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Lily Porth earned all-conference in the tower pursuit when she finished second at 11:00.92, the sixth fastest in program history.
Emma Wapshare earned all-conference in the javelin with a second-place throw of 36.62.
Jameson Sparks earned an all-conference spot with his third-place finish in the 3,000-meter pursuit at 9:10.13, which advanced him to thefifth fastest in program history.
Alex Seaton finished third in the preliminaries of the 200 at 10:08 p.m., meaning he will be in the final of the 200 meters tomorrow. He also placed eighth in the 100 preliminaries at 10.78, which qualified him for the finals.
Clare Kelly ran a personal best of 36:45.70 in the 10 km and finished fifth.
Kenneth Morrissey qualified for tomorrow's 800 final at 1:55.40 and placed fifth.
Kayla Myers is fifth in the heptathlon after the first day of competition.
Sophia Filali placed sixth in the preliminaries of the 400 hurdles at 1:05.24 and qualified for the finals.
Kevin Mills came sixth in the javelin throw with a throw of 52.84 meters.
Abigail Martin threw the javelin 31.94 meters and came sixth.
Hendrik Molenaar is in sixth place in the decathlon after the first day.
Sadie Holmes qualified for tomorrow's 1500 finals with a seventh-place finish in 4:44.55.
