League of Legends heads to the Epic Games store

Previously available only through Riot Games’ own launcher, League of Legends has moved to another platform, the Epic Games Store. The news arrives as part of the celebration of Arcane, the next Netflix spin-off show that spans the studio’s gigantic games. So far, we’ve seen Riot’s flagship MOBA game move to PUBG Mobile, another Runeterra universe game in the studio, and now Fortnite, where Epic Games comes in.

Starting today, fans will have access to the PC version of League of Legends from the Epic Games Store, as well as access to some of their sister games, Teamfight Tactics, Legends of Runeterra, and Valorant. Of course, you can play for free. You can find it in the company store. According to Epic Games, established league players will continue to be able to sign in to their regular accounts and access their existing friends list, eliminating the need to start over with new options.

In collaboration with Epic, popular champion Jinx, one of the stars of the next Netflix show, will head to Fortnite. She arrives at the battle royale game item shop later today. In addition to her outfit, there is a jinx dream monkey back bling, a pow pow crusher pickaxe, and other small pieces inspired by the available shows.
