A 2.4 magnitude earthquake was recorded in Berks County near the Lancaster County line, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The epicenter of the quake was in Lincoln Park, a few miles outside Redding, around 4:30 p.m. Lincoln Park is located about 17 miles (about 20 minutes drive) from Ephrata.
