A 4.9 magnitude earthquake hits Ethiopia and tremors were felt in Addis Ababa

A 4.9-magnitude earthquake struck the city of Awash in Ethiopia on Sunday, according to the US Geological Survey. The earthquake occurred at 8:10 pm local time, at a depth of 10 kilometers. Tremors were felt in the Afar, Oromia and Dire Dawa regions, and residents of the capital, Addis Ababa, also reported tremors. So far, there have been no reports of injuries or damage.
