“Dancing Queen” May says austerity is over, with a “good” Brexit deal

Theresa May rose to the stage to announce the end of austerity at the Conservative Party conference.

The prime minister said support for public services would rise next year, but did not say where the money was coming from and said it was in line with a good Brexit deal.

He called for the unity of his party, and warned critics that if they share their “own views on perfect Brexit,” they may not get one.
