The UK has more than 50,000 coronavirus deaths – the most in Europe – BBC News

The United Kingdom has become the first European country to record more than 50,000 deaths as a result of coronavirus. The Prime Minister said that every death was a tragedy and warned that Britain was not yet out of the woods. The latest data recorded another 595 deaths daily in the 28 days of the Covid-19 positive test, with a total death toll of 50,365.
