Divine Mumbai rapper changes traditional Indian music tune – BBC News
India’s famous music scene is making room for a new generation, with tours and a microphone instead of a guitar and drums. Local rapper Vivian Fernandes, which is Divine. he recently reached an agreement with Sony Music for songs that are mostly performed in Hindi. “I can connect with all sorts of people in India if I rap in India, as a security guard and office worker,” Divine tells BBC Pop Up.
