Coronavirus: death toll rises to at least 427 – BBC News
At least 427 people have died in more than 20,000 cases worldwide, most in China.
More than two dozen countries have reported the case, but so far no confirmation has been made in Africa or Latin America.
On Tuesday, three other Asian countries – Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand – confirmed the infection of citizens who did not travel to China.
Officials say 425 people are killed in China and another in Hong Kong. One of the deaths has also been confirmed in the Philippines.
