Over 70% of eligible King County residents get COVID shots
Seattle — Over 70% of people over the age of 12 receive at least one COVID-19 vaccine.
King County executive Dow Constantine announced a milestone on Tuesday. He said more than 1.6 million residents of the county, including Seattle, received at least one dose.
Authorities urged people who have not yet been vaccinated to give injections.
“This is an important milestone and remarkable achievement, but too many are still qualified and unprotected, as the current Delta surge shows,” said the Seattle and King County Public Health Officer.
