Monkeypox vaccine now available, but limited in Tompkins County
TOMPKINS COUNTY, N.Y. — A monkeypox vaccine is now available for high-risk people in Tompkins County, the Department of Health announced Friday.
The arrival of the vaccine in Tompkins County is the result of increased supplies across the state, previously only sent to areas with high monkeypox incidence. There are still only three recorded monkeypox cases in the county.
