1,028 New Coronavirus Cases in Orange County: Where They Are

Orange County, Calif.—Orange County Healthcare Agency officials reported 1,028 new cases of coronavirus on Monday, with an infection dating back to June 18 due to a backlog of state reports.

The two new cases reported were mostly from the community as they involved an experienced nursing facility. No new deaths have been reported, resulting in 366 deaths.

Orange County supervisor Lisa Bartlett was likely to have led to such a significant increase in the spread of protests due to Memorial Day weekend gatherings and the killing of George Floyd in Minnesota. Said that.

On June 18, there were 6 specimens diagnosed as positive for COVID-19, but by June 24 there were 125 specimens. On June 26, the number steadily increased to 196 and then fell again.

“It’s going to be an incubation period,” Bartlett said about a two- to three-week incubation period for the virus before it showed symptoms. “One week, two weeks, why 159 weeks? That’s what triggered the increase. It’s the date the sample was collected. I’ve been sick for a few weeks,” he said.

Bartlett also said that most people who get sick are young adults and adolescents in their 30s and 40s. “Obtaining it from the young people spreading it, and that’s a serious problem,” said the elderly, who are in the top age of death from COVID, “she said.
