British researchers have developed a new algorithm based on artificial intelligence (AI) that may one day allow doctors to diagnose heart attacks quickly and accurately.

Researchers at the University of Edinburgh say a new algorithm called CoDE-ACS was able to rule out heart attacks in more than twice as many patients with an accuracy of 99.6 percent compared to current testing methods.
