Oregon reported 3 deaths from COVID-19, 277 new cases and 27 in central Oregon
Portland, Oregon (KTVZ)-COVID-19 claimed three more lives in Oregon, increasing the state’s death toll to 289, with 27 new in Central Oregon at 27. The Health Department reported on Sunday.
The OHA reported an estimated 277 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 as of 12:1 on Sunday, with 16,758 cases and 361,717 negative test results across the state.
Sunday’s new cases are in the following counties: Baker (3), Benton (1), Clackamas (20), Colombia (2), Coos (1), Crook (1), Deschutes (21), Hood River (1). ), Jackson (15), Jefferson (5), Klamath (1), Lane (8), Lincoln (1), Lynn (5), Malhol (10), Marion (30), Morrow (13), Maltonoma (44) ), pork (2), Umatilla (43), Wasco (5), Washington (39), Yamhill (6).
The 287th COVID-19 death in Oregon was a 40-year-old woman in Multnomah County who tested positive on 1 July and died at the Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center on 22 July. She had an underlying illness.
The 288th COVID-19 death in Oregon was a 56-year-old man in Marion County who tested positive on 13 July and died at home on 23 July. He had fundamental conditions.
The 289th COVID-19 death in Oregon is a 63-year-old woman in Malheur County who tested positive on 15 July and died at the St. Alphonse Medical Center in Ontario on 21 July. She had an underlying illness.
The Sunday OHA list does not yet include the two most recent deaths in central Oregon COVID-19 that occurred on Thursday and were reported by local officials and families. SharranWeeks, 79, at Mt. Shirley Stayhi Heath, wife of Bachelor’s Degree Memory Care in Bend, and Delvis Heath Sr., long-time wife of Warm Springs.
