HSE’s “outbreak team” was called after the entire psychiatric ward captured Covid-19
HE HSE said an outbreak control team was set up to address the outbreak of Covid-19, which infected a single patient throughout the psychiatric ward at Naas General Hospital.

Unit staffing is currently operating at less than 50% capacity, and replacements are being reassigned from other community services.
HSE said today that outbreaks in the healthcare environment are called when there are at least two positive contacts.
