Saint Lucia records the highest daily increase in COVID cases
Today, on Monday, October 26, 2020, the Ministry of Health of Saint Lucia received confirmation of nine new cases of COVID-19.
As a result, the number of cases diagnosed nationwide so far in Japan will be 63.
Currently, a total of 36 cases are active and are being treated.
Five of the cases are female and four are male. Their age ranges from 12 to 55 years. These incidents are from the Vieux Fort, Castries and Gros Islet districts.
All cases were quarantined after testing while waiting for results. Links to individuals diagnosed with the virus have been established in 5 of these cases.
Investigations are underway to determine if the other four cases are related to the previous case.
New cases continue to be diagnosed and captured from a wider community. In this situation, you should always stick to actions that can keep your risk low. You should always be careful, especially when you are in a comfortable and frequent contact area, such as at work.
