Florida reported 4,064 cases of coronavirus and 50 deaths on Thursday, bringing the total number of deaths since the outbreak of the pandemic to 36,648.
Over a year of pandemics, the state has had 2,282,613 infections.
The Florida Department of Health has reported an average of approximately 3,454 infections and 56 deaths per day over the past seven days. It can take up to two weeks for authorities to identify and report coronavirus-related deaths. In other words, the number of deaths added does not necessarily reflect the number of people who died the day before.
Hospitalization: As of Thursday, a Florida hospital was treating 2,684 patients with COVID-19, including 579 in the Tampa Bay area.
The Ministry of Health reported 190 new hospitalizations on Thursday, 60 of which were local hospitalizations.
Approximately 20% of hospital beds and 21% of adult intensive care unit beds were available throughout the state. In Tampa Bay, about 19% of hospital beds and 16% of adult ICU beds were open.
Positive: According to Johns Hopkins University, the positive rate in Florida was about 6.6 percent on Thursday.
According to the World Health Organization, the state must maintain a positive rate of 5% or less for at least two weeks before resuming. A positive rate of 5% or less indicates that the test is widespread enough to capture mild, asymptomatic, and negative cases.
The District of Columbia and 29 states currently have a positive rate of less than 5%.
City number: Tampa Bay added 837 cases and 7 deaths on Thursday.
Hillsborough County added four deaths, and Pork reported two. Manatees added one death. Pasco County has removed two deaths from that number, and Pinellas has removed one. That is, the dead were not associated with the coronavirus, or the people who died were not residents. There were no new deaths in Hernando and Citrus counties.
The latest counts are Hillsboro with 139,297 and 1,773, Pineras with 80,271 and 1,662, Pork with 69,532 and 1,352, Manatees with 39,110 and 692, Pasco with 41,921 and 777, and Hernando with 14,190. .. 475 people have died, and Citrus has 11,204 cases and 455 deaths.
