Victoria extends a state of emergency that allows lockdown until July 1st
The Victorian government has expanded its authority to implement lockdowns, more than a year after the measure was first introduced for a month.

A state of emergency has been going on in Victoria for over a year.
It first came into effect on March 16, 2020 and has been extended 17 times.
