Chicago expected to move to COVID-19’s “high risk” level on Friday, but mask and vaccine obligations will not be reinstated
Chicago (CBS)- Chicago is likely to move to the “high risk” level of COVID-19 on Friday, but city officials said it does not mean returning to mask and vaccine obligations, as hospitalization for the virus is still low.
“Chicago’s healthcare system is stable and we haven’t reinstated mask and vaccine requirements,” said Ken Meyer, Chicago Department of Commerce and Consumer Protection Commissioner.
