A mild earthquake was recorded in eastern Slovakia on Thursday shortly before 14:00. According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre, the earthquake measured 3.0.

The earthquake came from a depth of nine kilometers, and its epicenter was 50 kilometers north of Kosice and 16 kilometers northwest of Homini. According to the seismology.sk website, the epicenter of the earthquake was near the village of Yankovic.
