Poverty-stricken children face widening “education gap” over blockade – BBC News

 



The rescue has hit the blockade hard in the UK. Fiscal Institute Studies show that the educational gap between the richest and poorest primary school children in England has widened. He sees that during the pandemic, the richest 20% of students spent six more hours a week on educational activities, compared to the poorest 20%. One director told the BBC it would take almost two years to close the gap. The government has said it is essential that all students in early childhood education return to classrooms in September.
