Hair dyes increase cancer risk in women: Harvard University study

A study conducted by Harvard University and published in The Journal of The BMJ found that natural hair color affects some cancer potentials.

As a result, it was found that the risk of three types of breast cancer: estrogen receptor negative, progesterone receptor negative, and hormone receptor negative was increased. Ovarian cancer was also associated with permanent hair dye use. Risk increases with the amount and frequency of hair dyes used by women.
The risk of Hodgkin lymphoma was also seen when using permanent hair dye on women with naturally dark hair.
