Coronavirus: Boris Johnson is out of intensive care but remains in hospital – BBC News

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been discharged from intensive care but remains in hospital, Downing Street reported.

Mr Johnson has been receiving coronavirus treatment at St Thomas’ Hospital in London since Sunday.

He said no 10 “have been taken back to the ward this afternoon from intensive care, where they will be monitored early in the recovery phase.”

A spokesman added: “He is in very good spirits.”
