Tesla has cut prices for its electric vehicles in the United States, China and other countries, comparisons of its websites showed Friday evening and over the weekend.

In the United States, the company reduced the starting prices of its Model X, Model Y and Model S by $2,000, a drop of less than 5% for the most affordable model. Prices for the Model 3 and Cybertruck have remained the same.

In China, Tesla has lowered the prices of all its models on sale to 14,000 yuan, or just over 5% for the most affordable model. China is Tesla's largest market outside the United States and accounts for more than a fifth of its revenue, according to the company's report. latest annual report.
