Jimmy Sheirgill spent 25 years in Bollywood, but despite being a part of many Hindi films, he says he never had the luxury of waiting for “hero” roles to present themselves to him and that he did. therefore decided to take “interesting” roles. Sheirgill made his acting debut in 1996 with maachi and got his first big movie with Mohabbatein in 2000. He went on to star in films like Munna Bhai MBBS, Hum Tum, Tanu marries Manu and Special 26.
Mera toh iss industry mein koi nahi tha toh mujhe isi tareeke se apna career dikha, ki kahin kuch interesting mila woh kar liya, yeh nahi socha ki main sirf hero hi karunga aur uske baad phir do saal ghar pe baitha reh gaya.
