Ariana Greenblatt joins the cast of 'Now You See Me 3'

Ariana Greenblatt, who appeared alongside Margot Robbie in last year's film barbiewill pull a rabbit out of his hat.

The actress joins the cast of Now you see me 3Lionsgate's upcoming feature film of its heist thrillers.

Many of the original cast members – Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher and Dave Franco – are expected to return. The original films also starred Morgan Freeman and Mark Ruffalo, although it's unclear if these two will return.

Ruben Fleischer directs the film, which received a mention last week during Lionsgate's presentation at CinemaCon.

Lionsgate has made no comment on casting and it is unclear who wrote the script. Seth Grahame-Smith, the genre scribe behind The Lego Batman Movie And Pride, Prejudice and Zombiesand Eric Warren have written drafts over the years.

The film once again delves into the world of illusionists and the quarrelsome and devious quartet of the Four Horsemen.

Greenblatt is one of Hollywood's rising actresses and a major player in the franchise business. In addition to barbiethe actress played young Ahsoka last year in the Star Wars series Ahsoka. She also played a young Gamora in Avengers: Infinity War.

Greenblatt's hiring brings her closer to Lionsgate, as she is part of the all-star cast of the company's upcoming video game adaptation. Borderlandswhich opens on August 9.
