Well here I am, just a forty something girl standing in front of the internet asking it not to judge her for loving a nap dress. Naps and I have a love/hate relationship. I'm a do-anything kind of girl, but lately, naps have been a force in my life.

My Review of the Saks Hill House Home Ellie Nap Dress (and Yes, It Has Pockets)

You don't see me in dresses for most of the year, but when summer comes around, I throw caution to the wind, ditch all my pants without a stretchy waistband, and turn to lightweight dresses. This Ellie Nap Dress from Hill House at Saks is no exception and is hands down my new favorite.

It has all the right details… gorgeous cotton fabric, comfy ruching at the bust, cute ruffle detailing on the sleeves and the red and white stripes that I have a soft spot for. I love the square neckline (yes, I wear a regular bra with this one) and of course the pockets are so handy.

The way the top and skirt are cut… they kind of follow the curves of your body without being really fitted. Great design. It's a forgiving cut without being huge or having Also lots of fabric. They nailed the tiered maxi dress design here. Love it.

And guess what? There are other colors too! Plus, this line has a few more options in slightly different cuts and even a skirt version that I have my eye on right now.

I wanted to keep this outfit fun and seasonal, but with pops of my vibeit's so dark lol. This Staud floral pattern leather basket bag is so adorable (also comes in white) and a real outfit maker.
