March 10 primary presidential GOP, explained

Six states will vote as a Republican Presidential primaries on Tuesday and in several states, Donald Trump is alone on the GOP ballot.

After Super Tuesday, Trump leads the delegate count by a margin of 833 to former Massachusetts governor Bill Welds. While no March 10 state has completely canceled its GOP primaries to protect Trump's presidential renomination (like many others across the country), some of those who still hold primaries and caucuses have tried to help Trump anyway, just like States parties have already participated in campaigns. For example, Michigan changed its primary rules to require that candidates receive at least 20% of the primary vote to win delegates (the previous marker was 15% of the primary vote).

In Washington State, Trump is the only candidate on the republican bulletin; and in North Dakota, which will hold caucuses, Trump was the only candidate qualify to be on the ballot. But in Michigan, Missouri, Idaho and Mississippi, Trump will be joined by Weld, who said in a interview With Reason magazines Matt Welch that he had no plans to withdraw from the race in the belief that he could eliminate some Trump voters in November.

Polling stations close at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time and continue on a continuous basis until 11:00 p.m. Eastern Time when the polling stations in Washington State is closing. Calls to Trump should arrive quickly.
