Boris Johnson's government response to the coronavirus crisis has been criticized for its mildness. Frustrated NHS doctor Sonia Adesara told Sky News that the government must act faster to ensure the UK understands health issues like other nations. She said: "The way this virus spreads and the number of deaths caused by this virus is not inevitable.
"We have seen it in other countries like Singapore, China and South Korea.
"If the government imposes drastic and swift action, thorough testing and accurate and up-to-date public information, all of these things can make a difference and slow the spread of the virus.
"There must be a priority test for NHS workers, so if they have cold or flu symptoms, they can then be tested quickly and returned to the workplace if they have a result negative."
Health Secretary Matt Hancock sowed panic after admitting that the NHS did not yet have enough fans to deal with the coronavirus crisis.
In an interview with Sky News on Sunday morning, he said the government would buy fans from all the manufacturers who produce them, because "no number is too high".
He added that Boris Johnson would hold a conference call with British manufacturers to highlight the importance of fan production at this time.
