President Jokowi prepares the names of candidates for the KPK steering committee: there are 9 people
Suaranusantara.com – President Jokowi's Special Staff Coordinator Ari Dwipayana said that President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is still compiling the names of potential members of the Leadership Candidate Selection Committee (Pansel Capim KPK.
Ari said the panel consisted of 9 people, comprised of government and community elements.
“The composition of the panel will be 9 people, including 5 people from government elements and 4 people from community elements which will be determined by presidential decree,” Ari said on Thursday (9/5/2024).
However, Ari said there has been no announcement regarding the identity of these nine names.
“The names of potential Pansel Capim and Dewas KPK members are still being discussed with attention to the community's hopes for having credible and upstanding Pansel members,” said Ari.
It is known that the term of office of the KPK leadership and the KPK Supervisory Board (Dewas) will end at the end of this year. According to the provisions, the President will form a panel to select candidates for the elected leadership of the KPK for the next period.
