Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding: Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, Kim Kardashian and Jay Shetty among guests at the mega event
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are all set to tie the knot on July 12 in a glamorous ceremony at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. The wedding will be attended by celebrities from all walks of life, from politics to the entertainment world.
The wedding will be attended by Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu, his deputy Pawan Kalyan, Andhra Pradesh minister Nara Lokesh, West Bengal CM and Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee and Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath.
Other guests include Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and former President of India Ram Nath Kovind.
The Kardashian sisters, Kim and Khloe, will also be in attendance at the wedding. Podcaster and life coach Jay Shetty and wrestler and actor John Cena will also be in attendance. Despacito singer Luis Rodriguez aka Luis Fonsi and Rema, famous for his role in Calm Down, will also be in attendance at the wedding.
Apart from this, heads of state and international dignitaries have also been invited to Ambani's wedding. International dignitaries like John Kerry, former British Prime Ministers Tony Blair and Prime Minister Boris Johnson as well as former Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi will also grace the occasion.
Former President of the Maldives Mohamed Nasheed, President of Tanzania HE Samia Suluhu Hassan, former Austrian Prime Minister Sebastian Kurz, former Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper and former Swedish Prime Minister Carl Bildt were also invited to the wedding.
Mumbai Police Traffic Advisory
Considering the magnitude of the wedding, the Mumbai Police has issued a traffic advisory, which would be in effect from July 12 to 15. As per the advisory, traffic near the Jio World Convention Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) will remain diverted to a different route.
“Due to a public event at Jio World Convention Centre, Bandra Kurla Complex on 5th July and 12th to 15th July, 2024, the following traffic arrangements will be put in place to ensure smooth flow of traffic,” Mumbai Traffic Police said in a message on X.

Additionally, the wedding menu is expected to include chaat from Varanasi's famous Kaashi Chaat Bhandaar. The delicacies could include tikki, tomato chaat, palak chaat, chana kachori and kulfi. The Reliance Foundation and its chairperson Nita Ambani finalised the menu last month during a visit to Varanasi, according to news agency ANI.
