Solo: Thousands of residents have always arrived at the 7th private residence of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo even if they had no open day. For three days of Eid, the residents continued to arrive and were ready to queue to take photos with Jokowi.
“Pak Jokowi did not organize an open day on this EID in 2025. But for residents who want to be invited,” said Jokowi assistant Kompol Syarif, Solo, Wednesday, April 2, 2025.
According to Syarif, the number of residents who came to Jokowi in Sumber, Banjarsari, solo, increased from the first day of Eid, on Monday March 31, 2025 until the third day of Eid, Wednesday, April 2, 2025.
Residents come from various regions in Indonesia. The first day of residents around Jokowi residence added on the first day of ldidomination. While the second and third days are dominated by residents outside the region.
“The first day, many residents around the father's residence. The second day started a lot, there were more than 1,500 residents if I estimate. They are soloraya and other regions. For the third day, there are more and more, from morning to evening,” he added.
Regarding the visit of Jokowi's house, Syarif called on residents to adjust his time. He hopes residents will not come very soon or too late. “So far, the call if you don't come too early or if you're not too late too. You certainly take the time to meet residents,” he said.
Meanwhile, one of Malang's visitors in eastern Java, Leli said he was happy to take pictures with Jokowi. “It is deliberately here, the plan is only to take photos with Mr. Jokowi, but given wine (fruit) with Mrs. Iriana and to get Angpao de Mas Gibran (elder son of Jokowi),” he said.
On the other hand, several figures were seen visiting the house of Jokowi on the third day of Eid, including the presidential advisor at Hajj Muhadjir Efendi and Vice-President Gibran Rakabuming Raka with the wife of Selvi Ananda and the baby.
