The Salukis plays 12 games in 2025 and open the season at home on 30 August versus Division II Thomas Meer.
A challenging non-conference schedule also includes a trip to Big Ten Purdue (6 September), and road races against defending Ohio Valley Conference-Big South Co-Champions UT Martin (September 13) and Semo (September 20).
Siu has only played Purdue once before and lost in 2014, 35-13. The Salukis are 8-1 of all time versus ut Martin with the last meeting in 2019. The trip to Cape Girardeau to play the Redhawks will renew one of the oldest rivalry in university football in the annual war for the wheel, in a series that dates from 1909.
The Salukis open the Missouri Valley Football Conference Slate versus Indiana State and then travel to defensive national champion North Dakota State (11 October).
Southern plays back-to-back home games versus North Dakota (October 18) and Noord-iRowa (October 25), before the regular season ends with three of the four games on the road in Murray State (November 1), in Youngstown State (November 8), versus South Dakota).
The Salukis recently started with the spring practices and will organize the annual spring competition on April 19 at 11 am
The innovations of the season card will be delivered later this spring and the kick -off times for autumn will be announced at a later time.
