Google nest mini speaker can't connect to deco x68…

Hello

I recently bought 3 Google Nest Mini speakers for my kids and they connected successfully to my old router/modem.

We have an Optus NBN, but one speaker at the back of the house was a bit temperamental. His 5GHz in that room is fine, but 2.4 is not. I had an extender but decided to get the deco x68 mesh.

The mesh is set up and the firmware is up to date as of this morning.

At first it seemed like all the speakers and chromecast were connected, but the deco app seemed to be connected and one of the speakers seemed to be playing, but no one can tell. yeah.

After some searching, I took apart my Google Home setup and factory reset all speakers and Chromecast. I set up my Google Home and then one of my Chromecasts. This works perfectly fine. I tried it with the first speaker and it seemed to be able to connect until I got to the password bit, but then I couldn't connect anymore. A similar problem has been reported for several years, but there is no solution.

Any ideas?
