Google unveils Pixel 9 Pro ahead of launch

Google has unveiled its upcoming Pixel 9 Pro smartphone ahead of its launch next month. In a teaser for the X, Google showed off the phone, and also revealed that the phone will have tighter integration with the company's Gemini AI software.

Google will officially launch the new Pixel 9 series on August 13. According to prior reports, Google is expected to launch three smartphones in this series: Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 XL. The Google Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 XL are expected to have upgraded ultra-wide and telephoto cameras. According to a report from Android Authority, the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL will have triple 50-megapixel rear cameras with Sony IMX858 sensors. The front camera is also said to be a 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 sensor designed primarily for rear cameras.
