An earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale struck 11 km southeast of Padangsidembuan, Indonesia, this afternoon.

The US Geological Survey reported a 4.7-magnitude earthquake in Indonesia near Padangsidembuan, North Sumatra, just 23 minutes ago. The earthquake struck around noon on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 12:19 pm local time at a shallow depth of 10 km.
