In Ukraine, efforts are being made to reunite babies born to be surrogate mothers with biological parents.

Last month, officials said more than a hundred babies were burnt in Kyiv when coronavirus restrictions prevented parents from traveling around the world to Ukraine.

But now part of the red ribbon has been cut, and special flights have been put on. The BBC’s Jonah Fisher spoke to a couple who were finally able to meet their son in Kyiv – ten weeks after he was born.
