WFP Speeds Up Emergency Food Aid To Earthquake-Stricken Afghanistan

KABUL – The United Nations World Food Program has provided emergency food assistance to 18,200 people affected by the devastating earthquake that struck Paktika and Khost on June 22. The 5.9-magnitude earthquake killed nearly 800 people, injured 1,500 and destroyed hundreds of homes. .
