Many earthquakes hit Bamapl

Numerous earthquakes struck the city of Bamomoul in the early hours of Sunday morning, disrupting furniture and worrying residents.

The people of Pamplona shook the ground this morning as they were woken up to an earthquake measuring 3.0 on the Richter scale.

Several seismic earthquakes struck the capital of Navarre between 7 am and 8 am.

The National Geographic Institute identified the seismic center as Liswen. Residents felt three earthquakes in a row, each with the increasing strength of seeing books falling on shelves and moving furniture around residents’ homes. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

The first earthquake was recorded at 6:59 AM with a magnitude of 1.6 on the Richter scale. However, subsequent earthquakes, at 7.55 am and 7.57 am respectively, saw strength rise to 3.1 and then 3.7.

The last earthquake, among the many that struck Pamomla this morning, saw a sudden earthquake of 4.4 which shook the area with its effects felt across Navarre to the north.

This is not the first time that locals in the region have experienced a series of earthquakes. On March 10, 2017, at 7.43 a.m., another earthquake with a Richter magnitude of 4.4 shook the city of Uriken, north of Navarra.
