The FDA has approved Remdesivir for the treatment of some Covid-19 patients

Experimental medicine has received approval to treat hospitalized patients with severe Cdes-19, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration said.
The FDA authorized its use for emergencies, saying the benefits of the drug outweigh the risks to patients. Emergency use is a rule bar that is lower than full FDA approval. Sara Sidner reports on CNN.
