Bloomington, Minnesota (FOX 9) — HealthPartners is the state-of-the-art hospital system in Minnesota that sets out requirements for COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations for employees.

Allina Health, M Health Fairview Essentia Health announced similar vaccine requirements earlier this week.

According to the news release, HealthPartners staff must be vaccinated against COVID-19 by October 30th and flu vaccinated by November 30th. Employees can apply for a medical or religious exemption.

Vaccination requirements also apply to hospital system volunteers, students, internships and vendors.

According to the release, nearly 75% of HealthPartners staff are vaccinated against COVID-19. This includes over 98% of clinicians.
