MCPHD will be closed for Thanksgiving including Vaccine Clinic
The Marion County Public Health Service, and its COVID-19 vaccination and testing site, will be closed for Thanksgiving and Black Friday.
The following schedule changes will also be made at the three vaccination sites and one test site.
- COVID-19 test at 3838 N. Rural Street is open Wednesday, November 24th, from 10am to 2pm. No reservation is required.You can make a reservation to be tested on this site by visiting MarionHealth.org/indycovid Or call 317-221-5515.
- NS COVID-19 vaccination site for children ages 5-11 Located on 3685 Commercial Drive, it will be closed until Monday, November 29th.
- NS COVID-19 vaccination site College Avenue Branch Library and Martindale-Brightwood Branch Library are reserved on Wednesdays only. Vaccines will not be offered on these sites on Saturday, November 27th.
The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis Vaccine Clinic was set up on December 2nd
The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, in partnership with Indiana University Health’s Riley Children’s, offers a free COVID-19 and influenza vaccination clinic.
It will be held at the museum from 4 pm to 8 pm on December 2nd.
The specific vaccinations offered are:
- Pfizer shots for children ages 5-11
- Pfizer shots for adolescents and adults over 12 years old
- Pfizer booster shots for adults over 18 years old
- Influenza vaccine for people over 6 months
In addition, December 2nd marks the museum’s $ 6 first Thursday night for families and children who want to attend monthly discount events.
