Belgium will be the first country to introduce monkeypox quarantine so far knowing about the virus
In an ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, a new monkeypox virus keeps people indoors. Belgium on Sunday became the first country to introduce compulsory quarantine for people infected with the virus. European countries first introduced a compulsory 21-day quarantine.
All reported cases are related to the festival in the port city of Antwerp, Belgian health officials say.
