PARIS (Reuters)-France has recorded 998 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours as concerns about new recurrent epidemics rise, according to the latest Ministry of Health data released Wednesday ..
The number of confirmed cases has now reached 178,336, the minister said. The number of people infected with the virus in the hospital was reduced from 6,482 on the previous day to 6,366, and the number of intensive care patients was shown to be reduced from 455 on the previous day to 445.
The death toll from the new coronavirus in France was 30,172, compared to 30,165 the day before.
