Officials confirm New Mexico man in his 20s died in PLAGUE

A man in his 20s died of a gland plague in New Mexico.

His death came from another plague case, a man in his 60s, just days after his first diagnosis this year.

The cases are unlikely to be linked because the two men lived more than 100 miles apart, but health officials are currently investigating the homes and families of adolescents who died of rare infections. ..

Chinese authorities have blocked cities and villages in the Inner Mongolia region of the country following this year’s death report from a gland plague.

It is the same disease that killed about 50 million people in the 14th century, including about 60% of the European population, and named it “Black Death.”

Recently, cases of gland plague are very rare, but still very deadly.

The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that there are 1,000 to 2,000 plague cases worldwide each year.

According to the WHO, 30-100% of these cases have been found to be fatal.

In the United States, there are only about seven cases of plague in a typical year. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimate that only about 8-10% of Americans infected with the plague typically die.

Isenia pestis mainly affects animals, most commonly rodents.

If those rodents are bitten by fleas, the worms can spread them to their next hosts, including other animals and humans.

When bitten by an infected flea, humans can usually carry asymptomatic plague for about 2 to 6 days.

What happens next depends on whether the person has a gland plague-the most causative type of death in black death, highly swollen, globular in the groin, armpit, or neck. Is characterized by lymph nodes-septic plague or pulmonary plague.

The man who died in New Mexico was in the form of sepsis.

In that case, if you inhale infectious droplets from the cough or sneeze of another person with plague, symptoms may appear earlier within 1-3 days.

Most patients initially present with fever and chills, which can be very weak.

Many subsequently develop abdominal pain, diarrhea, and vomiting, and some people bleed from the mouth, nose, and rectum. You may see blood collecting on your skin.

If the infection is bad enough, it can impair blood flow, cause septic shock, and potentially necrosis and darkening of the limbs when tissue dies.

Bacterial overruns can have the same effect on organs, leading to multiple organ damage and even death.

Treatment with antibiotics can improve survival, but it must start quickly for it to work. Patients quickly become debilitated, and some die within 24 hours of the first symptoms.

Experts advise that the best thing to do with a plague is to take every possible measure, not to get it.

The New Mexico Department of Health warns that pets are allowed to roam freely outdoors and warns that they are a major cause of infection, especially if they can get lost in the wildlife area. However, we recommend keeping animals as indoors as possible.

The death of this adolescent was the first plague death to be reported in New Mexico since 2015, and probably this year in the United States.
