In 2020, about 26 % of birth was a small and vulnerable newborn for premature birth or SGA. In the same year, there were 2.4 million newborn deaths, and most of them were classified as not SGAs. Nutrition intervention to prevent the risk of providing LBW

Multiple studies have shown that prenatal interventions may prevent prenatal infiltrations from producing small and vulnerable newborns. Promotional lipid-based dietary supplements (LNS), including SQ-LN, are nutritional supplements that provide trace nutrients, energy, and essential fatty acids to consumers. Previous studies show that SQ-LNS gains birth weight and newborns prevent the SGA risk. No research is evaluated about the effects of MMS and SQ-LN for small and vulnerable newborns.

About research

The current meta analysis pools personal-level data from the randomization comparison test conducted by LMICS, and has the risk of giving birth to a small and vulnerable newborn with MMS and SQ-LNS. I judged.

All related research was obtained from Pubmed, EMBASE, and Web of Science issued from January 1, 2000 to December 31, 2021. Current meta analysis excludes research that selects participants based on existing medical conditions such as HIV.

Newborns were classified using a classification approach of 10 groups and 4 groups. The former approach has been grouped based on the three birth results, that is, the combination of SGA, LBW, and non -LBWs suitable for pregnancy age (AGA).
